Have you ever been in situation that you just want to approach someone you like in room full of people? You’ve seen that person so many times in different moment/s or occasion/s and you feel like you just have a special connection that you just can’t get over with. (or was that an illusion?) Well if you have experienced any of it, good for you! But did you do something about it? Or even tell that person that you like him/her? And if you haven’t experienced any of it, you’re not a human! I’m just kidding.
But kidding aside, as the saying goes, “Life is what you make it!” – And I think you just have to go for it and approach that person! If you really like him/her, you make your own beginnings with that person (yiee, beginnings talaga!) and you make it happen! Because you never know unless you try, right? Whether it’s going to be a little bit weird or crazy just to talk to that person, just go for it! I really don’t believe in second chances! Once you have the chance, grab it!
Just like what I did way before when I had a crush on someone, because before my crush (crush talaga, lakas maka-highschool :D) and I only met and talk through social media, which you probably do too all the time when you met someone! You first talk to them online and then you stalk them. *smirks* and I don’t really have a plan on meeting someone that I met on social media. Because I want everything to be genuine as possible. I want it to be true. (May ganun?) But it was so funny how everything started! It was so unexpected, I just felt like going through the craziness just to meet her.
Here’s the funny story:
My crush and I met online through a friend, a few months back and then one night, we were just randomly messaging each other and she said, she’s going to this event along with her friends and if I’m not doing anything that night, I should go with them and hangout. (Maybe it was just a friendly hangout only for her, but no! I don’t want it to be that way! I don’t want to end that night and going through hell just to be put under the friend zoned list. Oh my god, I’m an overthinker.) But given that I don’t want to give in just yet, I said that I’m going too but I’ll go there with my friends. But really, I’m not going there with my friends, I’m just going there alone just to see her and ofcourse, to finally meet her. (stalker vibes lang, kahit walang kasama.)
The event was just really pure party, with good music, company and boosts! You don’t have that moment to chat with one another for a very long period of time because the music was really loud and everyone was just having good time! No time for cheesy moments. LOL! You can’t have serious moment just yet, but the night was so young it’s perfect for that #MahabahabangInuman kind of night! But being an introvert and extrovert at the same time, it was really hard for me to make the first move (torpe lang) so what I did was, I made friends with her friends. They saw me alone that night and they are trying to know where my friends are and I just said, “I’ll meet them later” but infact, I don’t have friends with me that night. I took this opportunity to meet their friend, which is my crush. (Para-paraan, Zed! Liligawan ang friends, then ang the right one!)
So it did happen.. Sparks united and stars collided! I finally talked to her and made her special that night by buying her favorite drink and taking care of her. Everything was just perfect and we enjoy a couple of beers including our favorite San Mig Light Beer. It was a different kind of #MahabahabangInuman. Every moment was just worth the wait.
How about you, what’s the craziest thing you’ve done in order to meet someone you like?
I had fun watching San Miguel Light Beer‘s newest TVC along with it’s newest brand ambassador Tom Rodriguez & Joseph Marco. The commercial was so true to it’s words and actions. It made me share my story as well. Hence, this blog post. So far, that’s the craziest thing I’ve done to meet someone I like. I gone desperate I think. Hahaha. I’m kidding!
