Burot Island is located in Calatagan, Batangas and it’s just 3-4 hours away from Manila; if you’ll take South Luzon Expressway exit to Santa Rosa, Laguna then going through Tagaytay to Batangas. We actually used the waze app going here and I’m telling you it’s worth every view, but for my skin, it’s not. haha. My friends and I tried to be more adventurous this year, which is clearly I’m up for it. So I guess this is our first beach stop, Burot Island! Entrance fee is just for 65 pesos only if not overnight, but if you want an overnight stay I suggest you bring your own tent or you can rent it for 300 to 400 pesos. We brought our own food and water or if you want to grill something for you guys to eat, you can rent there a griller as well. The people there are nice and willing to help you out in order for you to have an amazing and relaxing one-day beach getaway. This place is for people who just want to chill away from a busy week and have a doze of sun and vitamin sea.
